Our Story

Wrights the Butchers is a fourth-generation business and owned by eldest son Clayton who is the managing director and fully qualified Master Butcher with import, export, wholesale and retail licences.

The Wright core value is to champion the meat industry and represent Australia's most forward-thinking producers and the world's most innovative charcuterie brands.

Wrights Butcher focuses on traditional artisanal methods and ethical meat production. Achievements in the industry include pioneering and mentoring producers such as Flinders Island Milk Fed Lamb, registered and exported AACO Wagyu into North America, the first company to import Spanish Jamon to Australia representing the brands Joselito and working with world-class chefs.
